• Walt Disney – 100 Years of Wishing Upon a Star

This year sees the 100^th anniversary of the first ever Disney cartoon. From Mickey Mouse to Snow White to Frozen, what has made the studio so successful and beloved? This informal day school will both celebrate and explore how Disney changed animation, creating some of the most memorable movie moments, and, in doing so, became a global brand.

400 Years after The First Folio

 9^th November 2023 marks the 400^th anniversary of the first publication by some of his fellow-actors of the collected works of William Shakespeare, seven years after his death. This day school will study aspects of the Folio, its importance and its legacy in the canon of English and World drama. Some of the text that has come down to us will be explored, some scenes shown, and some of the many adaptations and appropriations discussed.
