400 Years after The First Folio
9th November 2023 marks the 400th anniversary of the first publication by some of his fellow-actors of the collected works of William Shakespeare, seven years after his death. This day school will study aspects of the Folio, its importance and its legacy in the canon of English and World drama. Some of the text that has come down to us will be explored, some scenes shown, and some of the many adaptations and appropriations discussed.
