Later this month, our Yorkshire & Humber Green branch are running their first Green and Sustainable Living event!

 

A mix of online courses and drop-in Zoom sessions around the themes of healthy, affordable and sustainable food, these are FREE and open to all members in the UK.

There are also local in-person sessions in Selby and Hull!

 

  • Keynote speakers include, Gill Coupland, co-director of Zero Waste Leeds, and Jen Gale, author and founder of Sustainable-ish

 

  • Hear from WEA tutors and members of local partner organisations, including Hull Food Partnership, Selby District AVS, Hull Time Bank, Incredible Edible Todmorden and A1 Collective

 

  • Learn more about the Green Branch Network and volunteering opportunities with the WEA
